GOLDEN COLUMBINE Aquilegia chrysantha The long flower spurs contain the nectar, and because the spurs are so long in this species, the flowers are not pollinated by hummingbirds, but by moths in the Hawkmoth Family (Sphingidae) instead. They prefer mosit, shadier areas.
